Life Magazin

This August I started working at Life Magazin. It is a Macedonian monthly magazine that deals with the true values of everyday life. A friendly guide through lots of different areas such as art, culture, society, travel destinations.

The magazine changed its owner and a whole new team was brought together. Following the new concept, I had a big challenge to redesign the layout and the logo.

My New Smena 8M

As a child I had this old Russian camera, but playing with it, I managed to break the shutter. Looking for someone who can fix it, I actually found a barely used model in a great condition for a very low price. Next step would be to buy a film and try it out:)

Smena was a series of cheap cameras produced by the LOMO (ЛОМО) company in the Soviet Union. Smena 8M (Смена 8М) was produced in 1970' and is totally manually controlled.

Couple of months ago, while walking with Ogi known as DJ Boogieman, I did some photos of him. Recently he had an interview in a local Macedonian magazine called Krema and they used two of the photos. These are some of the pics from the shoot.

This is a first in a series of posts where I'm going to make a selection of items from the past that we can see in everyday life, or some that we may have forgotten.

These three devices I shot last summer. The first is a record player produced in the 1960' in Yugoslavia by Iskra. The second one is a keypad from a telephone produced by the same company and the third is the very famous, one and only Commodore 64. Click on each for a larger view. Cheers!
